Tahj Eaddy, formerly of Southeast Missouri State, committed to SCU. He averaged 6.5 log as a freshman and will have to sit out a season. That’s our last scholarship and should end recruiting for the incoming class.

Good news, we needed another pg in the pipeline with Hauser and feagin in the same class. (I think we’ve had this debate on whether turner will be a pg or sg but he’s listed as a sg on verbal commits so I’ll stick with that for now)

Does anyone see this program attracting anything more than 2 star prospects? When do the Broncos take the next step?

Is a separate training facility still in the works?

Didn’t they sign a couple of three star guys this year?

Turner and Vrankic are both supposed to be three star guys.

All three have a three-star rating from one of the main ratings sites (i.e. Scout, ESPN, and Rivals). Henry Caruso was basically the top player from a good Princeton team, and Eaddy had a solid, if not mindblowing freshman season. This is a solid recruiting class for a mid-major team any way you spin it. We were never going to wake up suddenly with a new coach and a Gonzaga level recruiting class, but this is a great start.

Press release from SCU:

He scored in double figures 13 times, all in his final 20 games as a freshman. Sounds like a good pickup.
