The Thrill of the new Recruits and The Agony of “The Feet”

The new kids on the block are arriving for summer school classes and workouts.  Coach and his staff will need all guards on deck since KJ Feagin has another “foot” injury/setback.  Return date unknown.

In any case, we’ll really need some leadership from Caruso and Hauser – even if KJ recovers quickly.

Coaches are looking at all the “chess” moves with the Wardlow exit.

Yikes, that’s terrible new re: KJ.
I was hoping they’d fill Wardlow’s spot w/ a solid power forward but if KJ’s foot issue has the potential linger they’d almost have to go find a guard to back up Hauser and Turner. W/ Wardlow leaving, Eaddy sitting out the year we’d be down to 2 true guards. I imagine Caruso, Walters and Healy could all play the 2 but the 3 is more natural for all of them and don’t think any of them have the ballhandling and playmaking ability you’d like to see in a 2 guard.

KJ set to be cleared in sept. Actual practice doesn’t start until oct….

Saw new recruits practice. Should be in for a nice season…. IF…. the recruits can play under the lights. You never know….

Caruso is a Barkley type. Strong!!! Undersized at the 4 but brut strength will do him justice

If things go well should be an exciting year…..
