Who know s if it will be come a reality, but rumor has it that the NCAA is considering dropping the requirement that undergraduate transfers sit out a year. https://www.si.com/college-football/2018/01/19/change-transfer-rule-possibilities-collegiate-athletics
What’s the board’s thoughts on it?
Will it doom college hoops?
Does it make a level playing field for players and coaches, the latter of which can move at will (and get paid handsome sums to do it)? Maybe coaches will really have to earn those dollars to ensure players are getting what was promised? Or will it undermine coaching decisions (i.e. gotta play this kid, or he may be bolt on me.)
Will it benefit the likes of SCU, where we could more easily get an underused power conference player?
Or will we be at risk of losing a solid player who sees and bright lights elsewhere?
