Welcome aboard Coach Gainey!

I’ll have to admit I am nervous that we only got one year of Peery now there is a change, but i don’t know either skills or contributions enough to know whether this is good, bad. or neutral.

I felt pretty sure that Peery would be a short stay. His resume was already enough for a D1 Head Coaching look even before SCU. I think it was likely well known that he would jump when an opportunity came.

That said, I have no idea what this new coach brings to the table and how that relates to Peery’s role on the coaching staff.

One thing that I find interesting is that a lot of the coaching staff are old NC State players that Sendek coached. I really don’t know how that impacts their ability to coach but it is intriguing that he is staying in house.
